    Quality of life in elderly individuals attending a senior workshop at a private health institution in Rímac

    Objective: Determine the level of Quality of Life of the elderly who attends an Elderly Workshop at a Private Health Institution in the district of Rímac. Material and method: The sample consisted of 80 older adults of both sexes who agreed to voluntarily participate in the study. The SF-36 Quality of Life Scale (α=.74) was applied, which consists of 36 items with Likert response types. . Results: The results showed that 60% of the participants reached a Low level of Quality of life, while 34% reached a regular level of quality of life and 6% of them reached a good level of quality of life. Conclusions: It is concluded that older adults present a predominance due to the low level of quality of life.
