Ítem Acceso abierto Coping strategies and quality of life in patients with breast cancer oncology outpatient services in a National Hospital of Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-13) León Salgado, Jessica Elizabeth; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoObjective: This research has a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is descriptive and cross-sectional. The research was carried out in the Guillermo Almenara Hospital Outpatient Oncology Service where it was made up of patients with breast neoplasia. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument used was the QLQ-C30 Questionnaire and the BRIEF COPE Inventory. Results: Of the 70 patients evaluated, 57.1% present a moderately Healthy Quality of Life, among the patients who use the Confronte coping strategies, 77.5% present a moderately healthy physical quality, among the patients who use the Confronte coping strategies. Confronte coping, 84.6% present a moderately healthy quality of social life, among the patients who use Confronte coping strategies, 79.3% present a psychological quality It's healthy. Conclusions: it was determined that there is a low significant relationship (Rho=407, p=0.000) between quality of life and coping strategies of patients with breast cancer.
