Materials and Methods: This research follows the hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative, basic, and descriptive approach. The population consists of 48 nurses from the neonatal ICU of Hospital Regional Hermilio Valdizán, Huánuco, 2023. Since the population is manageable in size, a census sample was used. The survey technique was applied, and the instruments utilized were the Maslach Burnout Inventory, measuring the dimensions of Emotional Exhaustion, Depersonalization, and Personal Accomplishment, along with a job satisfaction questionnaire. Both instruments are validated and demonstrated reliability through the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which yielded a value of 0.794, indicating excellent reliability according to the Kuder-Richardson classification table. Data processing was conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22.0, and Excel for Windows 2016 was employed for data entry into a structured matrix as the database for the measurement instruments.
