    Evaluation of nutritional risk in adult patients of the medicine service of the Alberto Sabogal hospital - Callao, 2023

    The research titled "Evaluation of Nutritional Risk in Adult Patients from the Medicine Service at Alberto Sabogal-Callao Hospital, 2023" aimed to identify the nutritional risk in adult patients from the medicine service at the Alberto Sabogal-Callao Hospital in 2022. It was a deductive study with a quantitative approach, basic type, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and retrospective design. The population consisted of adult patients admitted to the hospital's medicine service, and a sample of 119 patients was taken. The instrument used was nutritional screening using the NRS-2002 tool. The results showed that 93 patients admitted to the medicine service presented a nutritional risk. It was concluded that, out of the 119 patients evaluated, 78% had a risk of malnutrition.
