Publicación Acceso abierto Ansiedad y motivación del logro de estudiantes de la facultad de medicina de una Universidad Privada de Lima – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-28) Liliana Carmen, Angeles Cadenillas; Ramos Vera, Patricia MaríaThe general objective of the study was to determine the relationship between anxiety and achievement motivation in students of the medical school of a Private University of Lima - 2022. For this purpose, a quantitative approach was chosen in the research, in addition to a non-specific design. experimental, descriptive - correlational, applied type and a hypothetical deductive method; Meanwhile, we worked with a sample that included 90 students from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycle of the university under study, which was chosen according to a non-probabilistic sampling. As data collection instruments, the Hamilton scale for anxiety validated and adapted by Lobo et al. (2009) and the attributional achievement motivation scale of Morales and Gómez (2009). As a result of the statistical processing carried out, it was found that there is an indirect, significant correlation and a low intensity between anxiety and achievement motivation (p= 0.006 and Rho = -0.289), concluding that low or absent levels of anxiety are associated to an increase in the motivation to achieve the students at the medical school of a Private University of Lima - 2022.
