    Quality of life and functional capacity in patients post-operated for cataract surgery at the Ophthalmological Clinic MACULA D&T LIMA 2023

    The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between quality of life and functional capacity in post-cataract surgery patients at the Macula D & T Ophthalmology Clinic - Lima in 2023. The methodology was hypothetical - deductive, with a quantitative approach, applied, non-experimental, transversal and correlational, where the sample was made up of 130 post-cataract surgery patients. Spearman's non-parametric rho test was used for statistics. The results found a relationship between quality of life in its dimension: difficulty with educational activities, difficulty with daily activities, difficulty with recreational activities and the response to vision problems with functional capacity (p <0.05) in post-cataract surgery patients. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between quality of life and functional capacity in patient’s post-cataract surgery at the Macula D & T Ophthalmology Clinic - Lima in 2023.
