Publicación Acceso abierto Síndrome de Burnout y desempeño profesional en enfermeras(os) estudiantes de la segunda especialización de la Facultad de Enfermería de la Universidad Nacional San Luis Gonzaga, Ica -2015.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-09-14) García Dorregaray, Elizabeth Mérida; Linares Fuentes, Doris Julia; Remuzgo Huamán, Sara EmiliaThe objective of the study was to determine the degree of relationship between burnout syndrome and professional performance in nurses (students) of the second specialization of the Faculty of Nursing of the National University “San Luis Gonzaga”, Ica-2015. The non-experimental type study was carried out, with a quantitative approach, with a transversal design and descriptive correlational scope. The population was constituted by 220 nurses of the 14 specialties; participating 90 nurses (or) students of the second specialization, selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria to whom it was applied Maslach Burnout Inventory / MBI Questionnaire and structured Questionnaire for professional performance evaluation with a validity and reliability of Crombach's alpha of 0.94.Processing the data with the help of SPSS v 25 and Microsoft Excel 2016.The results show nurses (or) with burnout syndrome 1.1%, 17.8% with tendency to develop and 81.1% with absence. 73.3% have excellent performance, 22.2% good and 4.4% regular. There is a correlation between both variables (p =, 000), with a degree of weak negative correlation (r = -, 380). This means that the relationship between both variables is inversely proportional. It is concluded that a low level or absence of Burnout syndrome are related to a better professional performance.
