Nurses are often the first emergency care providers to contact patients who have been poisoned by organophosphates; Thus, high knowledge is essential to elevate your nursing care; They must know the agent ingested, dose consumed, time elapsed since ingestion, to guarantee that poisonings are identified and treated appropriately Objective: Determine the relationship between knowledge and nursing care about organophosphate poisoning in patients who come to the Emergency Service. Emergency of the Dos de Mayo National Hospital, 2022 Method: The study will be deductive-descriptive-quantitative-correlational-transversal. The population will be 150 nurses. The instruments that will be used will be: Knowledge questionnaire about organophosphate poisoning that has 24 items, a validation of p=0.12 and reliability of KR-20=0.89, final value: low, medium and high; and the Nursing Care Observation Guide on Organophosphate Intoxication, which has 22 items; a validation of p=0.11 and reliability of KR-20=0.87, final value: inadequate and adequate.
