"Emphasizing that humanization is a process of loving communication between people with respect for dignity and mutual support that leads to change and understanding of the nature of life" and the satisfaction of parents or recipients. Objective: To determine the relationship between the humanized care of the nursing professional and the satisfaction of the parents of newborns hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of the National Maternal Perinatal Institute, Lima -2023. Methods: The present investigation will be carried out with the hypothetical - deductive method, of the applied type, non-experimental design and correlational level of quantitative approach. The census sample will consist of 80 parents whose children are hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the National Maternal Perinatal Institute. The survey will be used to apply two questionnaires on a Likert-type scale for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables under study. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and the hypotheses will be tested using the statistical test of Spearman's correlation coefficient given the qualitative nature of the variables.
