    Stress and academic performance in pre-professional nursing practice students at a private university in Metropolitan Lima, 2023

    The research entitled "Stress and academic performance in students of pre-professional nursing practices at a private university in metropolitan Lima, 2023", whose general objective was to determine the relationship between stress and academic performance in students of preprofessional nursing practices from a Private University of Metropolitan Lima, 2023. For this, a quantitative, non-experimental and cross-sectional study was designed, the population consisted of 96 nursing students who carry out professional practices who are in the 9th year. academic cycle of the Faculty of Health Sciences - School of Nursing. from the Norbert Wiener University, during the months of May and July 2023. It is observed in the variable Academic stress levels, 75% obtain a moderate stress level and in second place are those with severe stress (18.8%) and in third place mild stress (6.3%), in those levels of stressful dimensions the results indicate that (54.2%) is located in the severe stress level, (42.7%) is located in a moderate stress level and in last place mild stress is located with (3.1%), In the levels of symptoms dimensions the results indicate that (65.6%) is located in the moderate stress level, (20.8%) is located in a mild stress level and lastly severe stress is located with (13.5%), In the levels of coping strategies, the results indicate that (44.8%) is located in the moderate stress level, (42.7%) is located in a severe stress level and lastly mild stress is located with (12.5% ).
