Hypophosphatemia may occur in malnourished patients as a complication of enteral or parenteral nutrition. Objective: To determine the prevalence of hypophosphatemia in pediatric patients with neutropenic enteritis post-chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition at an institute for neoplastic diseases in Lima, from January 2019 to January 2021. Methodology: Descriptive, observational, cross-sectional, retrospective study. Results: The prevalence of hypophosphatemia was 45 patients, of which 35 presented with hypophosphatemia, representing 77.8%. Ten patients did not have hypophosphatemia, representing 22.2%. Conclusions: The prevalence of hypophosphatemia in pediatric patients with neutropenic enteritis post-chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition was 77.8% (35 out of 45).
