Materials and Methods: The study involved 80 patients diagnosed with Painful Shoulder Syndrome, of both sexes, aged 25-50 years. The instruments used were the Shoulder, Arm, and Hand Disability Questionnaire (DASH), with a reliability of 0.724, and the WHOQOL-BREF Quality of Life Questionnaire, with a reliability of 0.968. Both questionnaires used the test technique. The study approach was quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional. Results: 14.6% of patients had severe functional disability and very low quality of life. 54.5% of patients with maximum functional disability had very low quality of life. Conclusion: The "sig" value of the hypothesis test was 0.04, which is less than 0.05, indicating sufficient evidence to conclude that the variables are associated, confirming the relationship between functional disability and quality of life in patients with shoulder syndrome.
