    During aging, the physical functions of older adults gradually deteriorate, increasing their risk of developing physical disabilities. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between functional capacity and sleep quality in older adults. It will employ an applied, correlational, and cross-sectional methodology, using the "Barthel Index" to measure functional capacity and the "Sleep Quality Index" to measure sleep quality, evaluating a population of 80 elderly adults.
