Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and practice of biosafety measures for nursing professionals in the emergency service of a Level-III hospital in Lima - 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-21) Lopez Espinoza, Omar Victor; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioObjective: To determine the relationship between the knowledge and practice of biosecurity measures of the nursing professional in the emergency department of a level-III hospital in Lima in the year 2024. Methodology: The study will be quantitative and uses a deductive hypothesis method, which is a type of applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational study. One hundred nurses from the emergency room of a Level III hospital in Lima, Peru will be considered. The survey and observation will be used as techniques and the questionnaire and observation guide will be applied as instruments. As for the results, the information was collected and organized in the database using Microsoft Excel software, and processed in SPSS version 26 statistical software to be expressed in tables and graphs. Finally, the degree of association between both variables is evaluated using the Spearman coefficient, which corresponds to the stated objective.
