Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of nursing care and satisfaction of older adults attending the Hospital Vitarte, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-01) Lopez Silva, Jhoscelin Tatiana; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: Determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and satisfaction of the elderly who attend the Vitarte hospital, Lima 2023. Method: The methodology was hypothetical deductive, likewise, the approach was quantitative, applied, with a hypothetical method -deductive, correlational level and non-experimental design with cross-sectional data. To meet the established objectives, two Likert scale questionnaires were used as an instrument, one for quality of care and the other for satisfaction, both applied to a sample of 158 older adults from the Vitarte hospital. Results: In the descriptive analysis, 45.57% of the respondents affirm that the university students of said higher center, it was found that 42.50% of the respondents say that the level of quality in care is of a moderate level, while 36.71% affirm that is low and 17.72% is high. On the other hand, in terms of satisfaction, 50% of those surveyed affirm that it is average, while 28.48% say it is bad, but 21.52% say it is excellent. Regarding the correlational analysis, the technique correlates directly and significantly (r = 0.703, p-value < 0.05) with the satisfaction felt by the elderly patient, while the human dimension correlates significantly (r = 0.765, p-value < 0.05). p-value < 0.05), finally, the hospital environment is directly and significantly correlated (r = 0.867, p-value < 0.05) with the satisfaction felt by the elderly patient. Conclusions: There is a significant correlation between the quality of care and satisfaction of the elderly who attend the Vitarte hospital in the period 2023.
