    This study aimed to determine the correlation between the virtual forum as a teaching technique and critical thinking in postgraduate students. It is a quantitative approach research, its design is non-experimental and has a descriptive level, the sample was made up of master´s students from a University of Lima. Data collection was carried out with instruments that were validated by expert judgment; reliability was determined with Cronbach´s alpha statistic. The hypothesis tests were carried out with Spearman´s rho coefficient, which has considered a significance level of 0.05, where the values obtained indicate a significant positive correlation between moderate and strong between the variables, in which it is generally concluded that, the more application of the virtual forum as a teaching technique, the greater the critical thinking in postgraduate students. This correlation between the variables has contributions to the didactics o higher education, which in turn will guide the design of strategies for participation in virtual forums, where different opinions can be specified and debates and discussions can be held, in addition to supporting the points of interest with originality, view that they are important to develop the critical thinking of postgraduate students.
