Publicación Acceso abierto Satisfacción del usuario externo y calidad de atención percibida en el Servicio de Medicina Física y Rehabilitación, Hospital Regional de Ica, Marzo 2018.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-10-12) Lostaunau Ramos, Johanna Cristhina; Ayala Mendivil, Ronald EspirituObjective: To determine the association between external user satisfaction and perceived quality of care in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service of Ica Regional Hospital, in March 2018. Methodology: Descriptive study, non-experimental level, correlational design, cross section and quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 93 external users of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service of the Regional Hospital of Ica, to whom two questionnaires were administered: quality of care and satisfaction. The information obtained was analyzed with SPSS 23.0 software, using descriptive statistics: central tendency and dispersion measures for numerical data. As well as absolute and relative frequencies. For hypothesis test, Spearman correlation coefficient was used. Results: Among external users surveyed, 47.3% considered very good the quality of care, 43% good, 8.6% regular and 1.1% poor. The quality of care dimension with the best average of rating was empathy. Regarding satisfaction level, 36.6% felt very satisfied, 46.2% satisfied, 12.9% regularly satisfied and 4.3% dissatisfied. In the hypothesis test, with a 95% confidence level and p-value less than 0.05, it was determined that there is a statistically significant, moderate and directly proportional association between external user satisfaction and perceived quality of care, as well as external user satisfaction and each of dimensions of quality of care evaluated.
