The objective of this study was to evaluate compliance with good prescribing practices and pharmacist interventions in patients treated in the emergency department of the Clínica Internacional, San Borja branch, from January to March 2021. Method: The study was descriptive with a prospective design. A sample of 354 prescriptions was considered, in which good prescribing practices and pharmacist interventions were evaluated according to the study's dimensions. Results: Compliance with the registration of patient data on medical prescriptions was 82.32%. Prescriber data was complied with at 100%. Compliance with medication data was 80.68%, and 19.32% did not comply. It was found that 7.35% of prescriptions required dose adjustment, 3.25% had drug interactions, 1.25% had contraindications, and 18.2% presented therapeutic duplication. Conclusion: It was determined that there is compliance with good prescribing practices and pharmacist interventions in the prescriptions of patients treated in the emergency department of the Clínica Internacional, San Borja branch.
