    During the aging process, many physiological changes occur that can affect the functionality and independence of elderly people. The loss of functionality in performing basic and instrumental activities of daily living, along with a general decrease in strength, can lead to serious consequences for this age group. Muscle strength is an important component of health and well-being at all ages, including older adults. As we age, we lose muscle mass and strength, which can lead to health problems and decreased quality of life. Grip strength is an important indicator of functionality in older adults.
