Materials and Method: The type of research was quantitative, the study design used was a systematic review, the instrument was PubMed, Index, Wiley Online Library, Europa PMC, Revista Seapa, Turk J Colorectal, the study population was 50 articles and the sample of 10 articles. The sample was carefully selected after undergoing a critical reading; The GRADE method was used to evaluate the articles. Results: In the selection, 10 articles were chosen, found from Switzerland, Canada, Turkey, Spain, USA, these articles were largely descriptive analysis, quantitative clinical study, cross-sectional analysis where 100% affirm the importance of preoperative marking in the quality of life of the ostomized patient. Conclusions: The importance of preoperative marking in the quality of life of the ostomized patient is 100% conclusive according to this review, since it increases the adaptation, reduces complications and improves the quality of life of the ostomized patient.
