    Knowledge about natural disasters (EARTHISMS) and the response capacity of nursing professionals in a private clinic, Lima 2024

    OBJECTIVE: "To determine the relationship between the knowledge about natural disasters (earthquakes) and the response capacity of nursing professionals". Methodology: This study will have a quantitative approach, applied type, non-experimental design, correlational level and cross-sectional. It will include 40 nursing professionals as the study population. Data collection will be carried out through the survey technique. To evaluate the variable "Level of knowledge about natural disasters (earthquakes)" a questionnaire adapted by Cuadros in 2019 will be used, with a reliability determined by a Crombach's Alpha of 0.71. For the variable "response capacity of nursing professionals to a natural disaster (earthquake)" a checklist adapted by Barrientos 2019 will be used, reliable by Crombach's Alpha with index of 0.88. Data processing and analysis will be performed using descriptive statistics expressed in percentages. Statistical analysis will be performed according to the distribution of the data using statistical tests such as Pearson's Correlation.
