    Effectiveness of an educational intervention to increase knowledge about manchester triage in emergency nursing staff of the Centro Materno Infantil el Progreso Carabayllo - peru 2020.

    Triage is part of the professional competencies of emergency nurses. This process demands extensive knowledge in health and risk management. Four important steps are highlighted in emergency triage care: Reception, Assessment, Classification and Distribution. The Manchester Triage system is based on an easy method, the patient's complaint, well-defined and standardized questions assign the patient a priority level for their care between 1 to 1.5 minutes. Educational Intervention, a set of activities of a motivational, methodological nature, evaluation carried out by a professional group, thus achieving the proposed objectives. The lack of knowledge about the Triage that must be carried out in the emergency services causes crowds and/or overcrowding, for this reason the proposed research aims to provide a standardization of methodology, through an Educational Intervention on Manchester Triage directed towards the personnel of emergency services nursing. The project has a quantitative approach, non-explanatory type and pre-experimental design. Simple random probabilistic sampling, comprised of 67 nursing professionals; will use the educational session technique, it will be measured through a survey. Likewise, data collection will be carried out in a meeting scheduled and authorized by management.
