    Risk factors associated with neonatal sepsis in the neonatology department at San Juan de Lurigancho Hospital, 2021

    Objective: To determine the risk factors associated with neonatal sepsis in the neonatology service. Methodology: Study with a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach. The population will consist of the clinical records of the San Juan de Lurigancho hospital. For the study, a sample of 50 clinical records of neonates with a diagnosis of neonatal sepsis was obtained from the neonatology service of the San Juan de Lurigancho hospital, selected according to criteria of inclusion and exclusion raised in the research. Data collection techniques and instruments: The technique to be used in the research is data collection. The instrument will be a questionnaire called “Risk factors associated with early neonatal sepsis in the neonatology service. Procedures: Data collection will be carried out in 2 months, in the Neonatology service, once the information has been collected through the application of the instrument, the data will be entered into a database in the SPSS Version 25 program. Statistical Analysis: For the descriptive analysis Frequency tables, measures of central tendency and dispersion, as well as graphical representations, will be made.
