Publicación Acceso abierto Actividad cicatrizante del extracto hidroalcohólico de los tallos de Tripogandra serrulata (M. Vahl) Handlos “7 vidas” en ratones albinos(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2015) Machuca Cóndor, John José; Chávez Flores, Juana ElviraThis experimental study determined the wound healing effect of the hydroalcoholic extract of Tripogandra serrulata (M. Vahl) Handlos (“7 vidas”) stems in mice. The plant material was collected in the district of Pangoa, province of Satipo, department of Junín, at 628 m a.s.l. The stems were macerated to obtain a homogeneous plant sample. A phytochemical analysis was performed, and topical creams were prepared with different concentrations of the hydroalcoholic extract (5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%), which were used for pharmacological testing according to the method described by Vaisberg et al. (1989), in induced lesions. A total of 56 albino mice (Mus musculus Balb/C53), of both sexes, were distributed into seven groups. The treatment with the greatest efficacy among the prepared topical creams was the 15% concentration. It was concluded that the hydroalcoholic extract of Tripogandra serrulata (M. Vahl) Handlos (“7 vidas”) stems exhibits wound healing activity.
