    Knowledge and practices on the prevention of pneumonia associated with invasive mechanical ventilation of nurses in the intensive care unit of a national hospital in Lima - 2024

    This Pneumonia associated with mechanical ventilation has become one of the most common infections in the intensive care unit Objective: Determine how the knowledge about prevention of pneumonia associated with invasive mechanical ventilation is related to the practices of the Nurses of the intensive care unit. Methodology: hypothetical deductive, quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional design and correlational scope. The survey and observation will be used as data collection techniques and the questionnaire and observation guide will be used as instruments. The population: will be made up of 60 nurses. Results: will be expressed in tables and graphs. Likewise, to contract the hypothesis, the Spearman Test will be used as statistical estimation, with a confidence level of 95%, an error of 5%, which will be reflected in the contingency table of both variables.
