    Nivel de conocimiento sobre falsificación de medicamentos en Directores Técnicos de establecimientos farmacéuticos en el Cercado de Lima – 2022

    This research aimed to determine the level of knowledge about drug counterfeiting among technical directors of pharmaceutical establishments in the Cercado de Lima, 2022. The method used was deductive, quantitative, basic, non-experimental, descriptive, prospective, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 132 technical directors, the technique was a survey, the instrument was a 23-question questionnaire, and the SPSS program was utilized. Results showed that 69.7% had a medium level of knowledge about drug counterfeiting, 49.2% had a medium level of knowledge regarding training and updates, 58.3% achieved a medium level in recognizing counterfeit drugs, 82.6% had a medium level in identifying types of counterfeiting, 67.4% had low knowledge about counterfeit pharmaceutical forms, and 84.8% had a high level of knowledge about conditions that facilitate counterfeiting. In conclusion, the level of knowledge about drug counterfeiting among technical directors of pharmaceutical establishments in the Cercado de Lima in 2022 was high for 84.8%, medium for 9.8%, and low for 5.3% concerning conditions that facilitate drug counterfeiting. Regarding knowledge about counterfeit pharmaceutical forms, 67.4% had a low level, 23.5% a medium level, and only 9.1% a high level.
