Publicación Acceso abierto Relación de la inteligencia emocional con el bienestar psicológico y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de secundaria en una Institución Educativa de Ayacucho-2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-05-27) Mamani Aycachi, Wilmer; Yangali Vicente, Judith SoledadThe objective of the research was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being with the academic performance of students. The method used is hypothetical-deductive, the research approach is quantitative, type of research is basic, descriptive correlational research level, the research design is nonexperimental. The population is made up of 86 students with a census sample of both sexes with an age range between 14 and 16 years. The instruments to be used are: for Emotional Intelligence "Adaptation and standardization of the emotional intelligence inventory of BarOn ICE-NA in children and adolescents sample from metropolitan Lima" and the evaluation instrument for psychological well-being is the "Scale of Psychological Wellbeing of Riff and Keyes ”. In the case of academic performance, the grade point average will be used. Considering the intrapersonal, interpersonal, stress management and adaptability dimensions of the Emotional Intelligence variable; self-acceptance, personal growth with life, autonomy and positive interpersonal relationships of the Psychological Well-being variable; and the mathematical and communication dimensions of the variable Academic performance, the hypothesis was verified that if there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being with the academic performance of 4th grade high school students from an Educational Institution in Ayacucho.
