Ítem Acceso abierto Nursing care and quality of life in older adults in the medical service of a hospital in Lima-2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-21) Mamani Bartolo, María Magdalena; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioObjective: To determine the relationship between nursing care and quality of life in older adults in the medical service of a hospital in Lima-2023. Methodology: A quantitative, hypothetical-deductive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional analysis will be carried out, consisting of a population of 50 hospitalized older adult patients. A questionnaire adapted from Arteaga's work in 2022 was used for the nursing care variable, utilizing the Pearson correlation coefficient test (0.78) and consisting of 15 items. A questionnaire for the quality of life variable, adapted from the work of Queirolo, Barboza, and Ventura in 2020, was also employed, consisting of 24 items. Reliability was demonstrated by values of 0.82 and 0.870 for each instrument, respectively.The information will be processed using the SPSS 25 software to generate tables and figures in Excel, aiding in the interpretation of the study variables. This aims to gather necessary information to improve the quality of life based on the nursing care provided to older adult patients.
