Materials and Methods: Systematic review, a critical selection of scientific articles was carried out, the Grade evaluation system was used to identify the quality of evidence. The articles were found in the databases: PubMed, Epistemonikos, Sciencedirect, Scielo, Elsevier, Redalyc. Of the 10 articles investigated, 50% (n= 5/10) qualitative systematic review, 10% (n= 1/10) meta-analysis, 20% (n= 2/10) longitudinal and 20% (n= 2/10) ) transversal. The studies are from Spain (50%), followed by Amsterdam (20%), Philadelphia (10%), Switzerland (10%) and Brazil (10%). Results: 100% (n=10/10) of sources analyzed report that burnout syndrome has a direct effect on job satisfaction and the influencing factors are the work environment, scarcity of human resources, work stress, direct attention to patients, service time, professional relationships, work overload, hours and complexity of work, professional recognition, decision making, teamwork, type of management and leadership. Conclusion: 10 of the 10 articles reviewed explain that burnout syndrome impacts staff job satisfaction.
