Publicación Acceso abierto Errores de prescripción y características de medicamentos en recetas atendidas de la oficina farmacéutica del distrito de Pillco Marca en Huánuco 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-07) Mamani Pocohuanca, Liliana Lizeth; Justil Guerrero, Hugo JesúsThe objective was to describe prescribing errors and medication characteristics in prescriptions filled at the pharmaceutical office in the Pillco Marca district, Huánuco, in 2021. Methods: A quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional approach was used. The technique was observation, and the instrument was a checklist applied to 357 prescriptions. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented in tables and figures. Results: Compliance for patient data on prescriptions was 56.6%, for medication data it was 79.5%, and for prescriber data it was 63.3%. The predominant medication family was antibiotics (59.9%), with the most common route of administration being oral (53.8%) and the most frequent pharmaceutical form being syrup (36.4%). Conclusion: The most common prescribing errors identified were those with three errors per prescription, accounting for 26% of cases and involving patient, medication, and prescriber data.
