Ítem Acceso abierto Coping capacity and its association with the self-care style of nursing staff at the Nuestra Señora de la Paz polyclinic, Comas Lima, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-25) Marceline Ndatimana; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoObjective: To determine the association between coping capacity and self-care style among nursing staff at the Policlínico Nuestra Señora de la Paz, Comas Lima, 2021. Material and method: This study has a quantitative approach, is non-experimental, and follows a descriptive correlational design. The population consisted of 70 nursing professionals from the mentioned clinic, from which a sample of 60 participants was selected using probabilistic sampling. Results: The coping capacity level reached 46.7% at a high level, 40% at a medium level, and 13.3% at a low level. Regarding the self-care style, 40% were at a medium level, 46.7% at a high level, and 13.3% at a low level. The hypothesis test found a Spearman's rho of 0.567 and a bilateral significance of 0.000. Conclusion: There is a moderate association between coping capacity and self-care style among nursing staff.
