    Biosafety measures and level of radiological exposure in nursing of the radiotherapy service in a private clinic, Lima 2023

    Introduction: x-ray equipment has been advancing with technology and, in turn, has allowed damage to the people who handle it and to patients, for which the entities responsible for controlling x-ray exposure have been concerned about create protocols for handling this equipment, in order to protect people; however, it is necessary to know how it has been developing in health institutions, for this purpose the present study. Objective: To determine the relationship between biosafety measures and the practice of radiological exposure in nursing of the radiotherapy service in a private clinic, Lima 2023. Methods: Applied, quantitative cross-sectional observational non-experimental study. The census sample will be made up of 105 health professionals who are licensed nurses who work in the radiotherapy area of a private clinic in Lima during 2023. The survey will be used to apply two questionnaires, one to determine the radiological biosafety measures and the practice of radiological exposure, with which one goes to measure the variables that will be presented. Subsequently, the data that will be collected will be entered into Excel and then will be analyzed with the SPSS 26 program.
