Ítem Acceso abierto Omitted nursing care and surgical patient satisfaction in a medical center in Callao 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-07) Marcilla Felix, Aquilina; Benavente Sanchez, Yennys KatiuscaObjective: Determine how omitted care is related to the satisfaction of the surgical patient in a Medical Center in Callao 2024. Methodology: applied research, descriptive correlational, non-experimental, transversal design. The study presents the population of 160 surgical patients. The sample was calculated with the finite population formula, being 113 patients hospitalized in the surgical wards of the Medical Center. of Callao. Sampling will be probabilistic. As for the technique, it will be the survey and there will be two (2) instruments, the first will evaluate the omitted care. the MISSCARE Instrument, developed by Kalisch and Williams. translated and validated into the Spanish language by Rey Luque, who called it OMICE (Acronym for Omission of Nursing Care). The instrument consists of 22 items of missing care elements. The second instrument will measure the satisfaction of post-operative patients. The author of the instrument is Patricia Larson and it was adapted into Spanish by Sepúlveda Carrillo Gloria. Made up of 46 reagents. spans 6 dimensions; monitors, comforts, accessibility, explains and facilitates, anticipates, maintains a relationship of trust, monitors and follows up. SPSS version 26 software, Spearman's correlation coefficient, will be used for statistical analysis. During the development of the project, the ethical principles will be considered: justice, autonomy, Beneficence, and non-maleficence.
