    Objective: "To determine the relationship between alcoholism and intrafamily violence in the community of Santa Rosa de Tambo - Huancavelica, 2023." Material and method: The descriptive design is a valid method for the research study as an antecedent to more quantitative studies. Although there are some reasonable concerns about statistical validity, as long as the limitations are perceived by the researcher, this type of study represents an invaluable scientific tool, the sample will be made up of 80 people, male and female, aged 18 and over. up to 60 years of age. Reliability: The results of this research project show a significant reliability for the AUDIT instrument, which is related to research studies carried out; In our case, the value according to the table (α = 0.81) where it is described that it is a good instrument for detecting not only risk, (Pearson's chi-square) it was found that violence occurs more frequently economic and social, likewise, there is a relationship between the type of family violence and alcohol consumption (p < 0.05).
