Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge of biosecurity measures and the application in the nursing staff of the hospitalization service of a national hospital of Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-13) Margarito Noriega, Eyllen Lucia; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeThe research work presented for continuation aims to: Determine how the level of knowledge of biosafety measures is related to the application in the nursing team of the inpatient service of a national hospital in Lima 2023. Methodology: It is developed a quantitative, correlational and hypothetical approach. -deductive study. The population was made up of 80 nurses who worked in the hospital area according to the sample. Results: The level of knowledge about biosafety measures according to the universal dimension is related to the application in nursing workers; it was found that there is a low level of knowledge, with the average level of application of biosafety measures being 88%. The level of knowledge of biosafety measures according to the dimension of the protective barriers is related to the application of the nursing team; it is observed that there is a low level of knowledge with the average application of biosafety measures at 85%. The level of knowledge of biosafety measures according to the magnitude of removal of contaminated material is related to the application of the nursing team, it appears that there is a low level of knowledge with the average application of biosafety measures at 92.5 %. The level of knowledge about biosafety measures is related to the application of nursing staff; it appears that there is a medium level with the average application of biosafety measures at 91.3%. Spearman's Rho statistic indicates that the results must have a value of p=<0.05 for the correlation to be accepted where the alpha must be less than mentioned.
