However, nowadays it is known that it has a more pronounced incidence in health personnel due to their constant coexistence with the triggering factors. Objective: To be able to determine the level of work stress in nursing staff who provide care in the emergency service of a particular clinic. Material and method: This project has a quantitative approach, with a descriptive research, with a cross-sectional section, the staff will be previously selected using the inclusion and exclusion method already mentioned in this work; the technique that will be applied corresponds to the survey and the information collection instrument to measure the stress level will be: the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), which was developed by Maslach and Jackson in the period 1981, is a Spanish version instrument consisting of 03 dimensions, and 22 items, which is valued on a Likert-type scale.
