    Risk factors that predispose type ii diabetes mellitus in adults attending the emergency service of a national hospital of MINSA – 2020

    Objective: To determine the risk factors that predispose to type II diabetes mellitus in adults who attend the Emergency Service of a National Hospital of the MINSA - 2020. Methods: The study will have a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, the descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional method. The population and intentional sample will be made up of 50 adults who attend the emergency service of a National Hospital of the MINSA in Lima, 2020. The sample will be taken in July 2020 using the FRINDRISK Test (Finnish Diabetes Risk Score) that was created and validated in Finland by Thoumiletto J. and Cols in 1987, who will collect data to be processed through non-parametric tests to identify the variable in order to prove that the risk factors that predispose to type II diabetes mellitus in adults are directly high risk.
