This type of disease can be prevented by modifying lifestyles and risk factors. Objective: Determine how the level of knowledge is related to preventive care for kidney disease in patients who attend the cardiology clinic in a clinic in Lima. Peru- year 2023. Methodology. It will be hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach, this research will be applied and has a non-experimental correlational design. The sample will be made up of 90 patients from the cardiology office of a clinic in Lima and inclusion and exclusion criteria will be taken into account. The instrument that will be used is questionnaires and the technique is the survey. The data will be analyzed with the SPSS program, and the results of the research work can be analyzed according to the dimensions and the hypotheses can be compared.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of stress in older adults in the hospitalization services of the San Juan de Dios clinic, year 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-14) Matos Ricci, Alexandra Melina; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: Determine the level of stress in older adults in the hospitalization services of the San Juan de Dios clinic. Materials and methods: A quantitative, prospective and cross-sectional study was carried out. The finite sample consisted of 45 older adults. The instrument used was the Spanish version of the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) questionnaire by Cohen (1983). Adapted by Dr. Remor and used in 2017 by Pérez in Peru. The data collected was processed using the Excel program and SPSS version 25. Results: Moderate stress level with 56% and high stress level with 44%. Conclusions: The level of stress in older adults hospitalized at the San Juan de Dios Clinic was predominantly moderate with 56%.
