    Sleep quality and its relationship with the risk of falls in older adults at the Vitarte health center, 2022

    The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and the risk of falls in older adults at the Vitarte Health Center, 2022. This observational, cross-sectional, and correlational study involved a sample of 118 older adults. The instruments used were the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and the Downton Fall Risk Questionnaire. Results showed a higher number of older male adults, more older adults with good sleep quality, and a higher number of older adults with moderate fall risk. No statistically significant relationship was found between the study variables. It was concluded that sleep quality does not have a relationship with the level of fall risk.
