Analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitude regarding preventive measures against COVID-19 in merchants at the Las Américas Central Market, Ate Vitarte Lima 2022. Likewise, the method was correlational, quantitative, applied, transversal and prospective. The sample was 60 merchants from the aforementioned market, which was also considered as a sample. The results showed that 36.7% of merchants showed a high level of knowledge and 70% showed a regular level of attitudes. Furthermore, a significant correlation was observed between knowledge (p<0.001, Rho=0.518), its dimensions: etiology (p<0.001, Rho=0.685), means of transmission (p=0.002, Rho=0.393), clinical picture (p <0.001, Rho=0.455), protective measures (p<0.001, Rho=0.440), and attitude about preventive measures. It is concluded that the greater the knowledge, the better the attitudes about preventive measures in merchants.
