Lima. 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-03-13) Mayta Quispe, Evelin Giomara; Pure Malmorejon, Delfina; Alvarado Chávez, BrittThe objective was to determine the behavioral factors associated with therapeutic adherence in geriatric patients with chronic diseases at the Canevaro Center -Rímac Lima 2024. Methodology: Non-experimental, quantitative, hypothetical deductive, cross sectional and correlational study. The population was 169 older adults who were asked to participate with an assisted survey meeting the ethical and selection criteria. Results: It was observed that the male gender represented 65.1% of the total, the most frequent age of the patients surveyed was 62.1% from 70 to 80 years and whose level of education with the highest percentage was 40.2% primary level. In addition, it was observed that with a low presence of behavioral factors there is a low presence of therapeutic adherence with 14.2%, while with a high frequency of behavioral factors there is an average therapeutic adherence of 16% in geriatric patients with chronic diseases at the Canevaro Center. Conclusion: It was proven that there is a weak relationship between behavioral factors and therapeutic adherence.
