Ítem Acceso abierto Satisfaction of skin-to-skin contact and early initiation of exclusive breastfeeding in postpartum mothers in a maternal and child center of San Martín de Porres, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-28) Mechato Ancajima, Paulina; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoIntroduction: Skin-to-skin contact between the infant and the mother is considered one of the early care procedures immediately after birth or less than 10 minutes after birth by positioning the naked newborn to the mother's abdomen; their contact practice being a predictor for the initiation of early breastfeeding. Objective: To determine how the satisfaction of skin-to-skin contact is related to the early initiation of exclusive breastfeeding in postpartum mothers in a maternal and child center in San Martín de Porres. Methodology: The hypothetical-deductive study method, quantitative approach, applied type, cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational design; The population will be made up of 90 postpartum mothers during the month of October 2023; Likewise, the sample will be the same because it is a small population (less than 100); That is, the total census population and non-probabilistic sampling for convenience will be taken. The techniques will be surveys and two validated questionnaires. To collect data, processing will be carried out using the statistical software Microsoft Excel 2021 and the SPSS Statistical Program version 26.0; and to test hypotheses, the Spearman Correlation Test (Rh0) will be applied to determine the relationship between the variables.
