Material and Methods: Research type is descriptive, correlational in scope. The nursing staff was evaluated in the application of the Pediatric Evaluation Triangle in Triage. Two types of instruments were developed, an observation sheet to evaluate the nursing staff during the application of the PET and a data collection sheet to determine the priority assigned to the waiting time in patient care. Results: It is obtained that 80 % apply TEP adequately and that therefore improves the quality of care in the emergency service, this by evaluating the waiting times in care. Conclusions: There is a statistically significant relationship between the Efficacy of the Triangle of Pediatric evaluation and quality of care in the HONADOMANI San Bartolomé emergency service.
