Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge about arterial hypertension and self-care in adult patients treated in the internal medicine area of a national hospital 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-03-03) Medina Vasquez, Berly Charleny; Morillo Acasio, Berlina del RosarioObjective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about arterial hypertension and self-care in older adult patients attended in the internal medicine area of a national hospital 2024 Methodology: Hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, observational, correlational, prospective and cross-sectional with a population of 1060 and a sample of 283 individuals evaluated by 2 questionnaires previously validated and approved in the study of Omeli, Torres study where it was validated by the Kuder - Richardson test with a score of 0.86 for the level of knowledge instrument and a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.8 for the selfcare instrument. Regarding data analysis, the data collected will be entered into the SPSS version 26.0 statistical program for data processing by applying the chi-square statistical test, as well as the elaboration of the respective tables and graphs.
