    The purpose of this research work is to validate the analysis of Reanud lip prints as a forensic identification method in students of a private university in 2023, through a type of applied research, with a non-experimental design and with a quantitative approach; with a sample of 132 students, using the observation as a technique and as an instrument the cheiloscopic file validated by Carvajal and others (2014) It was found that the type B groove was the most prevalent, with an 83.3% prevalence, that the commissure of the dejected type was exhibited as the most frequent, presenting in 68.9% of the cases and that the thickness of the medium lip was the most predominant with 66.7% Also, it was shown that lip impressions are unique with Renaud's analysis and the cheiloscopic pattern was not repeated in any of the 132 students, this method being valid as a method of forensic identification of people.
