Ítem Acceso abierto Effects of oral Iron treatment in pregnant women with Iron deficiency Anemia during the years 2011 to 2020.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-10-20) Mendoza Fiestas, Marcio Santos; Alfaro Fernández, Paul RubénDescribe the scientific evidence found on the effects of oral Iron treatment in pregnant women with Iron Deficiency Anemia during the years 2011 to 2020. It is a study whose design is a qualitative systematic review. The population was made up of 60 and the sample was 20 scientific articles. The technique used was systematic reviews of scientific articles published between 2011 and 2020 in the databases, developed under the PICO methodology. Regarding the studies, it was found that they cause a significant reduction in the prevalence of low hemoglobin levels at or near the end of pregnancy, their daily or intermittent administration of oral iron with ferrous sulfate in both groups showed good results. but there is not enough data on the change in its recommended administration modality for its treatment. In relation to the value of the quality of the evidence according to the Grade system, it shows that 95% is of high quality, obtained from PUBMED (50%), Google academic (45%) and SCIELO (5%). This indicates that there is significant evidence on the effects of oral Iron treatment in pregnant women with Iron Deficiency Anemia.
