This study aims to measure the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and job performance among healthcare staff during the COVID-19 pandemic at a community mental health center in Cusco, 2021. The research adopts a quantitative approach, is of an applied type, and follows a non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional design. The population consists of 117 healthcare staff members, with a sample size of 90 participants. Data collection was conducted through a survey using two instruments: a Burnout Syndrome questionnaire and a Job Performance questionnaire, both administered with prior authorization and informed consent from participants. The first questionnaire comprises 22 items, while the second contains 11 items. The collected data will be tabulated and processed using Excel and SPSS statistical software version 22. Descriptive and inferential statistics will be applied, with results presented through tables and graphs.
