Publicación Acceso abierto Empatía y satisfacción percibida por los trabajadores mineros atendidos en la clínica de salud ocupacional Holomedic, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-04-29) Mercado Lengua, Fabiola Olga; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThe current perception of dehumanized, low-quality health care, lacking in human warmth, calls into question the ethics and capacity of health professionals, which generates interest in considering people's perception as an indicator of care offered by health personnel; which motivated me to develop this thesis project: "Empathy and satisfaction perceived by the mining workers cared for at the Holomedic occupational health clinic, Lima 2021", Objective: The objetive was to establish the relationship between empathy and perceived satisfaction by mining workers. Methodology: Descriptive, correlational, non-experimental and cross-sectional study. The sample consisted of 108 workers selected by probability sampling, simple random. The instrument used was the survey "Consultation and CARE Relational Empathy" for the empathy variable and the SERVPERF questionnaire for the satisfaction variable, which were validated by the judgment of three experts. For the validity and reliability of the instruments, Cronbach's alpha was performed (0.695 empathy variable and 0.830 satisfaction variable). The information obtained was analyzed with the help of the SPSS v. 22, and for the hypothesis test, the Spearman coefficient was used. Results: Regarding the empathy perceived by the mining workers, the majority had an average level of 57.41%, while 42.59% had a high level of empathy, with respect to the satisfaction perceived by the mining workers, the majority had an average level of 87.04% and only 12.96% had a low level of satisfaction. Conclusions: A relationship was obtained between empathy and the satisfaction perceived by the mining workers treated in the Holomedic occupational health clinic, with a (Rho 0.816), with a p-value less than 0.05, taking into account that there is a level 95% confidence, therefore the alternative hypothesis is accepted, but the null hypothesis is rejected.
