Materials and methods: The research type was quantitative, with a systematic review study design. The population consisted of 24 articles, and the sample was made up of 10 scientific articles. The instrument used was a search in databases: Scielo, PubMed, and EBSCO. The articles were evaluated using the GRADE system. Results: Of the articles, 60% showed more effective results in postoperative quality of life, and 40% showed more effective results in both intraoperative and postoperative quality of life. Study designs included 60% systematic reviews, 30% meta-analyses, and 10% randomized clinical trials. Conclusions: It was concluded that 90% of the studies show that laparoscopic colorectal surgery was more effective than open surgery due to less pain, shorter hospital stay, minimal invasiveness, smaller incision length, less blood loss, normal intestinal function, better aesthetics, faster mobilization, and better postoperative recovery. On the other hand, 10% of studies show that open colorectal surgery was more effective than laparoscopic surgery due to fewer intraoperative complications.Ítem Acceso abierto Self-esteem and its relationship with self-care ability in patients undergoing hemodialysis at the Santa Patricia Medical Center.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) Meza Huaynates, Iris Marleny; Quispe Cosi, Fanny Liliana; Chávez Flores, Erik MarioThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between self-esteem and self-care ability in patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment at the Santa Patricia Medical Center. Methodology: This was a quantitative, applied, non-experimental study with a correlational design and cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 93 patients, and the instrument used was a questionnaire for evaluation. Results: When correlating the two study variables, it was found that medium self-care ability increases as the level of self-esteem rises. The findings showed that 53.8% of patients with low self-esteem had medium self-care ability, and only 7.7% had high self-care ability. Regarding self-esteem, 48.4% had medium self-esteem, with the remainder distributed between high self-esteem (37.6%) and low self-esteem (14%). In the self-care ability variable, 48.4% had medium self-care, 25.8% had low self-care, and the remaining had high self-care. Conclusion: The statistical test of Spearman's correlation coefficient (Spearman's rho: 0.338, p-value: 0.001) showed a significant direct or positive relationship of medium level between self-esteem and self-care ability in patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.Ítem Acceso abierto Self-esteem and its relationship with the capacity for self-care, in patients receiving hemodialysis treatment at the Santa Patricia Medical Center(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Meza Huaynates, Iris Marleny; Quispe Cosi, Fanny Liliana; Chávez Flores, Erik MarioIt was found by correlating the two study variables that the medium-level self-care capacity increases as the level of self-esteem increases. This shows that 53.8% of patients with low self-esteem have medium self-care capacity and only 7.7% % have a high self-care capacity, in terms of the self-esteem variable, 48.4% have medium-level self-esteem, the rest is distributed between high self-esteem 37.6% and low self-esteem 14%. In the self-care capacity variable, 48.4% have a medium self-care level, 25.8% have low and high self-care. It is concluded; When performing the statistical test of Spearman's correlation coefficient (Spearman's rho: 0.338 p value: 0.001), it was found that there is a significant direct or positive relationship of medium level between self-esteem and the ability to self-care in patients who receive hemodialysis treatment.
