Ítem Acceso abierto Self-care and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease, undergoing hemodialysis treatment, at the renal life center, Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-14) Meza Macha, Betty; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosPatients suffering from kidney disease are affected in different spheres of their lives; Social, psychological – emotional and physical, will require a system of renal replacement therapy, in addition to palliative treatments for the maintenance of their health and control of the symptoms that cause this disease which must be fulfilled by the patient, encouraging their self-care, since in this way an improvement in the quality of life will be evidenced. Objective: This research project, entitled "SELF-CARE AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE, IN HEMODIALYSIS TREATMENT, OF THE RENAL LIFE CENTER, LIMA 2022" aims to show if there is a correlation between self-care and quality of life of patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, who are undergoing hemodialysis therapy. Method: A hypothetical deductive methodology was used, with a quantitative approach, correlational, cross-sectional design. The population and finite sample will be 80 patients receiving hemodialysis therapy at the Renal Life Center. As instruments, they were considered; As a technique, a survey for data collection and two questionnaires to determine the variables self-care and quality of life. And thus, be able to identify the relationship that exists between these two study variables.
